Old Lodge Revisited
This structure was the oldest African-American Masonic Lodge in the US.
It was neglected and allowed to collapse over many years.
There is nothing left of it now.

Duncan House

They tore down the old Duncan House.
I made this image using a print of the painting as an homage.

I had drawn this abandoned house swallowed by kudzu.
Several months later it was burned down by some kids.
I made this image with the original drawing as an homage.

I gathered some of the charred remnants of the house.
I took an image of the smoldering remains.
I drew this image using the found charcoal.
It is a composite drawing of my earlier rendering, and the remains.

A building that I had sketched earlier was finally being renovated by a local architect.
I took this image with my drawing (see Corner Store above) as an homage.
The drawing now hangs in the architects office.
